What colour shirt....?

for my debs i have a grey/silver dress with silver, black and pink stones. the person im going with is wearing a black suit. i would just like to know what colour shirt and tie would match? i was thinking a light pink shirt with a grey tie? any help would be very appreciated.. thanks
