What happened to the suit life of Z and C characters?

So I know that there is the old ones with the hotel and the new one with the ship. I am trying to find out why they switched from hotel to ship,why Esteban was hardly in the hotel one and why he is not on the ship one,why Maddie isn't in the ship one,why the twins mom isn't on the ship one, And I am not a constant watcher so I only see ones here and there so one of the twins got into a relationship with bailey then broke up(why?)and got back to together what was that like?
