Modern day evolution question?

So, I was wondering...given today's technology and all, if the world economy collapsed, and mankind got sent back to the stone age per se...who would prevail, the "alpha males" of modern society, the perfect man who every woman wants, or the nerd who can outsmart them...the kind of nerds who built the nuclear warhead...and found a way to travel to the moon...? What do you think? Is brawn enough to overcome brains?
