I just adopted a 9week old kitten yesturday.and the lady gave her to me sick...possibly a uri...can you help?

she is the sweetest little girl....but she wheezes a lot.....she hasnt peed very much,and doesnt poop really often....she drinks tons of water though...she doesnt have any eye boogies or boogies in her nose....she just wants to lay down on my bed and is even more comfy if im with her....she wheezes lot and it sounds like its in her lungs...i have an appt for her to go in to the vet for thursday....my two questions are: does anyone know what i should for her between now and thursday?will she be ok?....and how much do they usually cost here in cali?
