I want to separate myself from my kitten during the night, is this a good idea?

i have a 10 week old kitten, she loves to sleep with me next to her on my bed, but the downside to this is that I don't get a good nights sleep. I have a room full of toys, a tv, litter, water, and food, Would it be healthy for my kitty if i left it to roam in the house and closed my room door. She loves to sleep on my bed, but I set up a comfy bed for her in her play room.
